Regal Homes is celebrating 50+ years ofbuilding beautiful homesacross the greater Canberra region—from Gunning to Cooma and everywhere between.
And our experience doesn’t just come from operating for 50+ years. Many of our staff and subcontractors have been with the company over 20 years. They know what our customers expect from their home building experience, and pride themselves on delivering it.
Natasha Stoka
Managing Director
Natasha started with Regal Homes when she was just 17 years old. After some time out to grow her family, Tash returned in 2017 to help her dad Boris, (Regal Homes’ founder) run the company. When Boris officially retired in 2020 Tash took the reins.
Since then, Tash has worked hard to build on the values her dad established within Regal Homes. Being mindful of future generations, she is also incorporating more sustainable living aspects and clever custom designs.
Tash’s vision for Regal Homes is to include strength, functionality, and beauty at the heart of everything they do.
Tash cherishes the time with her family and constantly drags them to Sydney to see their favourite musicals. When she has a minute to sit still, you will find her curled up by the fire with a book…..napping.
Libe Chacos
Estimator
Libe joined the team as our estimator in early 2022 and it feels like we have never been without him. Libe has worked extensively in the local construction industry for decades.
On the weekends, Libe loves spending time in his veggie garden. As his little fur buddy Apollo also loves his attention, Libe and his family enjoy taking him on long walks and holidays. Libe is currently on a quest to find the perfect Pina Colada recipe!
Matt Pateman
Construction Supervisor
Meet Matt
Matt remembers spending time on Regal sites with his dad as a youngster. He remembers the good old days when all the trades used to down tools, pull up an esky and have lunch together.
Keen to bring those days back, Matt now enjoys working with our fabulous team of trades to handcraft our new homes.
Ever on the go, Matt loves coaching young people to help develop their talents on the football field. When Matt gets a little time to himself you’ll find him taking his dirt bikes out for a ride!
Haris Buza

Meet Haris
Haris has been working with Regal Homes since he was an apprentice tiler over 20 years ago. Haris’ keen eye for detail and quality of workmanship saw him transition into one of our supervisor roles over 6 years ago. Since then Haris has been nothing but an asset to our construction team.
Haris is a big fan of Canberra’s crisp mornings. When he has down time you’ll find him mountain bike riding, skiing, tending to his garden or enjoying the fresh sea air at the south coast.
Nakita Taylor
Carpenter
Meet Nakita
Nakita is a third generation builder who is following in her grandfather and mother’s footsteps. Nakita completed her apprenticeship in 2023.
Nakita is an outdoors girl. When she’s not on the tools you can find her snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, jumping out of planes, or camping (preferably in the snow)!
Leah Sherwood
Receptionist and Administration Support
Meet Leah
Leah arrived in Canberra in 2016 after moving around a few times with her partner who works in Defence. Leah has many years of experience working in administrative roles in different industries including hospitality, insurance and tertiary education.
Leah joined the Regal Homes team in 2017 where she earned the affectionate nickname of ‘The Gatekeeper’. Leah is the initial point of contact at the office and provides administrative support to the whole team. Her cheerful disposition and professionalism create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all.
In her spare time Leah likes exploring her local area, whether it be trying the newest restaurant or enjoying the many walking trails with her husband and two miniature schnauzers.
Cath McDonald
Accounts Manager
Meet Cath
Cath has been with Regal Homes since early 2017. Having previously worked with Natasha in the retail industry, Cath jumped at the chance to join her team again.
While starting out on reception, Cath was quickly moved to Construction Admin, thanks to her organisation and people skills to try and sweet talk the councils. As of 2023, Cath has now embraced her love of numbers, maths, and spreadsheets to undertake the bookkeeping role.
When Cath’s not at work she loves the simple things in life – spending time with loved ones, preferably in the sunshine and a good wine.
